The Lunar Cycle was created as a continuation and extension of the formal considerations undertaken earlier in the works Postument I, Postument II. The inner space of the pedestal becomes a place where the “surreal” dimension develops, presenting a fragment of the “moon” landscape. Symbols from the world of dreams appear in it, or forms introducing suggestions of the hidden presence of life into this desert tectonics.¬†

From the formal point of view, these are succesive works building their tension on juxtapositions of forms referring to the tradition of abstract, formalistic art with “romantic” disturbances. I introduce objects saturated with meanings into the spaces of geometric, plain figures, generating an unexpected narrative in such a connection.
